This is a deposit ONLY. Once your deposit has been processed your beef will be harvested. Once harvested it will hang for 2 weeks to age, during this aging time you will be put in contact with the butcher to have the side cut in the portions you want. Also you will get a hanging weight from the butcher. We charge per pound based on the hanging weight. Our charge is $3.25 per pound hanging weight. Please know that the delivered weight from the butcher is about 40% lower due to bones. Once your beef is done at the butcher, you simply drive there and pick up your meat and pay the butcher his fees and the remainder of the balance for your beef in cash or in 2 checks (1 to us and 1 to the butcher). The butcher charges 70 cents on the hanging weight and that is NOT included in our $3.25 per pound price.

An average 1/2 has a hanging weight of between 300 and 450 lbs.
